Grand-Photography is proud to remind our members about our assignment for this month. We dedicate April to Spring, which came late this year due to snowy weather worldwide!

Spring    
Due: 29th April 2013
Folder: Assignment: Spring
Theme/Concept: "Spring": refers to photos that show the tone of Spring. This includes everything from flowers to new life to sunny weather to peaceful and happy moods. Creativity Is A Key For less obvious Spring submissions add a description with the photo explaining it.

Submission Rules:
each member can submit one photo
the photo must be related to the topic concept
submit the very best you've got

Results & Winner Information:
one winner will be chosen by the 1st Week of May 2013 (terms and conditions apply)
winner gets a special blog feature for a month
that feature is guaranteed a minimum of 1,500 views

Terms & Conditions:
submitters must be members or admins of Grand-Photography
Grand-Photography has the right to not choose a winner if submissions don't meet our standards

Being a contributor brings you into the world of admins and therefore responsibility. The general jobs involved in being a contributor are:

accepting and rejecting submissions
advertising and inviting deviants to join our group
monitoring and raising any issues if spotted

Application Process & Further:

I) Each admin needs to pass a standardized QA test where you'll be presented 6 images. You'll be required to either accept or reject each individual image and provide a valid critical reason for your decision. A minimum of 4/6 correct answers will qualify you as a Grand-Photography Admin.

II) Once you are an admin, you are required to send the founder *MatusMajer a note with brief history of your photographical experience and/or admin experience, which will be used to post in our admin section for members to see.

III) Our Criteria For Acceptance = High Quality Photography. We use a 3/3 voting system. If you are 1st, 2nd to reject we ask you to write an admin word comment to provide a reason. If you are 3rd, you are asked to provide a reason for your rejection and a kind motivational push for the artist in the artist comment area. If however, you are to be the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd to accept a justifiable reason needs to be provided within the admin comment area.

Your Rewards Include:

having a part in a professional group
learning a great deal about quality photography
having our admin title
having the ability to submit up to 4 works per week
having access to admin information relating to the group, contests, events, assignments at first hand before presented
having the say in identifying which works are accepted and which are rejected.

Today, we have a great base establishment, and we're planning to continue growing. Hence if you are up for it and have some time to spare to help out, we'd greatly appreciate it. However, we also are going to be following strict regulations. It's not a must that you have to help on a daily bases. But if you'll not be showing any effort you will be warned and removed from the position if it comes to that.

Dear Members,

It's been a while since I was in touch. So I've decided to write you all a journal to check if you are satisfied with our group. We are growing steadily as forecasted with over 710 members now. One of the goals is to reach 1,000 members before our 1st year anniversary.

That setting aside, we'd love to hear your feedback about our group. What would you like to change, what do you like, any ideas/concerns/thoughts are much appreciated so don't hesitate to write them in the comments below.

In order to keep this short and simply, I'll now wish you a Happy Easter and hope you'll enjoy our community too the maximum.
